Cruise the Amazon

Embark on a four-to-five-day tour of the Peruvian Amazon, combining five-star comforts with adventurous excursions. Hike the Natural Park, engage with indigenous communities, or paddle along tranquil creeks. In the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve, the largest protected flooded forest in the world, take a dip with pink river dolphins or try your hand at piranha fishing. While onboard, glimpse howler monkeys, sloths, iguanas, and caimans from the deck, while you sip on refreshing pisco sours.

Dive the Galapagos

Situated at the confluence of three ocean currents, the Galapagos islands are a haven for marine life with sea lions, whale sharks, and manta rays calling these waters home. Hammerhead schools create their own spectacle here. Dive sites like Wolf and Darwin Islands are favourites. As well as the abundant aquatic life, underwater volcanic crevices and caves make these dives all the more exhilarating.

Heli-Ski Glaciers

Heli-skiing provides access to Antarctica’s remotest peaks, with helicopters and exhilarating descents across the vast snowy terrains. Taking advantage of the 18-22 hours of daylight during summer, skiers can make the most out of their time on these slopes. Seasoned guides help adventurers navigate the challenging environment but heli-skiing experience is required.

Spot Whales & Dolphins

In July, the Galapagos Islands are a hotspot for dolphin and whale watching. Brought by the Humboldt Current, the waters attract a variety of marine life. Dolphins, especially the common and bottlenose varieties, can often be seen leaping and playing alongside boats. The real stars, however, are the humpback whales, migrating to the Galapagos during this time to showcase their breaches and tail slaps. Sightings of orcas, minke, and Bryde’s whales are also common.

Wine Tasting

Often overshadowed by its neighbours, Uruguay is a wine destination in its own right. Anchored by its Tannat grape, it offers a distinct viticultural experience. Bodega Garzón, near Punta del Este, combines modern winemaking with fantastic views. Further inland, the boutique Artesana impresses with its Tannat-Zinfandel blends. In Canelones, one of the country’s oldest wineries welcomes guests with an intriguing history.
