When
to Travel

Any time of the year is good to visit. Between April and August, there’s less heat but the best chance of clear blue skies. During the summer months of December to February, the weather is hotter but there’s a higher chance of a downpour.

This region of Brazil is at its busiest around Carnival in February and March.
