Havana

Old Havana’s shady plazas and colonial churches are emblems of the city’s crumbling grandeur. A patchwork of eclectic architecture baroque and colonial border Soviet Russian tenements provide an enchanting backdrop to Havana’s dramatic history and complex character.

Culturally diverse, influences are rooted in music and dance arriving to Cuba’s shores from the African slave trade, western colonialism and the hedonistic lifestyle led by wealthy visitors in the 50’s

Havana is best seen on foot or from a vintage Cadillac. We have an established network of artists, musicians, dancers, designers and architects who show travellers the quirks of everyday life in Havana.

As night falls, sip a rum cocktail on a private rooftop overlooking the thrum of the Malecon (seafront) and watch as locals chat, fish and play chess. Privately owned paladars serve home-cooked food and young chefs are gradually reinventing Cuba’s traditionally limited gastronomy.

With a boundary-pushing arts scene, there are experimental performances at old factories, while curators will open the doors to artist studios.  We can organise behind the scenes access to the Cuban National Ballet rehearsals and for those visiting in November, we will arrange VIP access to the Ballet Festival.
