What to do at Chaa Creek?

This is a place to delve deep into Belize’s culture, history and pristine ecosystem.

Explore the many ancient cities, temples, ceremonial caves and archaeological sites of this fascinating ancient civilisation. Soar through the jungle on a zipline. Marvel at Mayan ruins from a helicopter. Follow the lodge’s Medicinal Trail to discover how the ​​Mayans utilised the jungle’s natural resources for their practical and medicinal needs. Chaa Creek is located in the central Cayo District of Belize near the town of San Ignacio (20 mins). It takes about 2 hours by car to get from the Belize International Airport to Chaa Creek.

There are direct flights to Belize from other Latin American cities such as Guatemala City and Cancun.

When to Travel

While the climate is comfortable year-round, the best time to visit is from late November through to May when rainfall is low. The driest months are between February and May.
