Cafetal de la Trinidad, Colombia | Plan South America

Bogota I Colombia I Property I Riding

Cafetal de la Trinidad, located just two hours from Bogota, is a family run coffee and cattle farm. Having been in the same family for five generations, La Trinidad opened its doors to guests in 2018.

What we love about La Trinidad

  • The location – set in the Colombian Andean mountains in the middle of a tropical cloud forest
  • The four unique and traditionally designed bedrooms
  • The fully local La Trinidad team – Eusebio, for example, is the main guide and was born and went to school on the farm. His father also worked at La Trinidad!
  • The coffee factory which still maintains the original machinery imported from England
  • The hearty, traditional Colombian food

What to do at La Trinidad?

Explore the vast estate on horseback or on foot. Riding is a highlight at La Trinidad and guests can ride around the farm for ten hours and not go back on themselves.

Soak up the beauty of the farm and the incredible biodiversity. Go for a dip in the river that runs through the estate.

Explore the surrounding coffee fields and learn about the history of the farm. We can arrange for you to meet the owner of La Trinidad and share stories over a cup of coffee or lunch.

A well known local chef can be brought into the farm for special dinners.
