Bahia Vik, Uruguay | Plan South America

Beach | Jose Ignacio | Property | Uruguay

Bahia Vik was the third property to be added to the Vik collection in José Ignacio in southern Uruguay. Just like the other two, Bahia Vik is synonymous with art, design and wine.

What we love about Bahia Vik

  • The on-site bistro El Zodiaco, where the ocean is visible from every table
  • The rooms, all unique and each designed individually by a host of Uruguayan artists
  • The 14 villas – with minimalist constructions of steel and glass, they have floor to ceiling views of the Atlantic Ocean
  • The four large infinity pools which are dotted around the property and have all have incredible views

What to do at Bahia Vik?

Spend your days at Bahia Vik exploring the town of José Ignacio. There’s surfing, funky beach clubs and shoreside beach shacks serving up grilled seafood and jugs of white wine sangria. Sip ice-cold caipirinhas at Bahia Vik’s own beach club followed by a supper of grilled octopus on the sands.

Serving up a blend of Uruguayan and Mediterranean dishes, food is one of the highlights of staying at Bahia Vik. Indulge in fresh seafood caught off the Uruguayan coast paired with bottles of Vik’s signature wine produced at their Chilean retreat in the Millahue Valley.

Guests at Bahia Vik can head to nearby sister property Estancia Vik and go riding.
