The all-suite MS Hebridean Sky combines luxury with adventure to offer one of the most sophisticated cruising experiences around the Antarctic waters. Built in an Italian shipyard and undergoing a multi-million renovation in Sweden in 2016, interiors convey an atmosphere of a traditional private yacht where wood paneling and brass are featured heavily. It is at the top end of the comfort scale with many of the trappings of a floating 5 star hotel including Molten Brown bath products, twice daily turn down service, satellite phones and flat screen TV’s in all suites as well as top-notch cuisine in a delightful restaurant.
Her unique blend of luxury and adventure in a laid back environment makes her stand out from other boats of her size – unlike many of the luxury cruises MS Hebridean Sky doesn’t specify any dress code, rather she offers a relaxed cruise atmosphere with a sophisticated and convivial vibe. Famous for impeccable service, friendly, laid back but super professional staff and a charming atmosphere this is a ship to choose for interesting conversations around the dinner table with like-minded guests who also like a little luxury in their adventure – in short understated Antarctic elegance at it’s best.
Ranging from 20 to 50 square metres the all suite cabins are fabulous with dark Mahogany interiors and charming living areas. All of MS Hebridean Sky’s suites have ocean views and 12 have private balconies. The restaurant offers an excellent range of meals with a buffet breakfast and lunch and an elegant 4-course dinner with a daily changing a la carte menu.
