Days at Tipiliuke Lodge are best spent exploring the Patagonian landscapes.

Begin your mornings with fly fishing sessions in the gin-clear waters of the Chimehuín River, renowned for its trout. After an asado lunch, go horseback riding through the surrounding wilderness, experiencing the beauty of the estancia and its wildlife.

In the afternoons, unwind with yoga in the lodge’s studio or a visit to the wood-fired sauna. As evening falls, enjoy dinners paired with fine Argentine wines, and relax by the outdoor fire.

You can fly into Buenos Aires and then take a short two-hour flight to Chapelco Airport in San Martín de los Andes, where a Tipiliuke representative can greet you for a brief 10-minute drive to the lodge.

Alternatively, you can fly into Bariloche Airport and enjoy a scenic three-hour drive along the famous 7 Lakes Road to reach the lodge.

When to Travel

The best time to visit depends on your preferred activities and weather. Spring (September to December) offers mild temperatures and blooming landscapes, ideal for outdoor exploring. Summer (December to March) provides warm and sunny days, perfect for fishing and hiking. Autumn (March to June) brings cooler temperatures and vibrant foliage, creating a picturesque setting for all activities.
