THE SINGULAR PATAGONIA

At the edge of the South Chilean archipelago in Puerto Natales, sits one of South America’s most remarkable hotels

Chilean architect Pedro Kovacic has transformed a 1915 meat-processing plant into a labyrinth of soaring interiors laden with Victorian-style comforts.

Each of the 57 rooms at The Singular Patagonia features roll-top baths, king-size beds, and mahogany writing desks. The spa is the largest in Patagonia and the hotel restaurant is every bit as spectacular as the landscape that surrounds it.

  • The Singular is a haven for the active-minded. Days are filled with boating, hiking, pedaling, and riding.
  • Visit Chile’s crown jewel while you’re here, the nearby Torres del Paine National Park.
  • This hotel preserves the century-old cold storage Frigorífico Bories, declared a National Heritage in 1996 and embodying the very essence of its destination
  • All rooms boast views of the Patagonian fjords, with luxurious furnishings, 500 thread-count Egyptian cotton linens, separate bathtubs and showers, mini bars, room service, and heated floors.
