Hotel B is Lima’s first Relais & Châteaux property, housed in a restored Belle Époque mansion in the bohemian district of Barranco.
Surrounded by galleries, artists’ studios, and embassies, this quarter of Lima that is proudly both refined and eclectic. The hotel’s in-house art collection showcases contemporary Peruvian art, while a private gallery space connects directly to the celebrated Lucía de la Puente gallery next door. The 20 suites are elegant yet relaxed, and the hotel restaurant channels the spirit of an early twentieth-century explorers’ club.
What we love about Hotel B:
- The location, just two blocks from the Pacific and five minutes from Miraflores, in a neighbourhood rich with colonial houses, boutiques, galleries, and the iconic Puente de los Suspiros
- 20 elegant rooms: we especially love the Atelier Suites
- The restaurant & bar, decorated to recall the bohemian cafes with an educated selection of South American wines, Piscos & fresh seafood
- The art gallery, with opportunities for private viewings and special events
- The rooftop terrace: a private outdoor lounge overlooking Barranco and the Pacific Ocean, exclusively for hotel guests
- The interiors: blending the elegance of restored grand dame with a playful edge, vintage and designer pieces sit alongside a striking art collection
