What is the best time of year to visit Ecuador?
Ecuador has relatively moderate temperatures throughout the year, with two seasons: the dry season (June to September) and the wet season (October to May). February to May is the best time to visit the Amazon rainforest. There are some regional fluctuations, which our team will advise you on as you plan your trip.
December to February is holiday season in Ecuador, with local tourism at its peak, making it necessary to book farther in advance for these months. Prices will also be slightly higher. There are also public holidays at Easter and in May.

Is Ecuador safe to visit?
Regionally, it is one of the safer countries. However, in Quito and other populous areas, pickpocketing and petty theft does occur.
