This sleek boutique hotel sits at the far southern end of Copacabana, right in the centre of Rio’s beach scene.
A vision in white, Emiliano’s design blends Brazilian modernism with minimalist cool, with a playful edge that nods to Copacabana’s past (and present) as a place where the city comes to see and be seen.
Rooms pair sleek neutral interiors with huge marble bathrooms and balconies; it’s well worth splashing out on a room with sea views. There’s an L-shaped rooftop pool, and a terrace with a chilled bar area. Outside, Copacabana Beach is the city’s beating heart.
