Step outside and experience the vibrant hustle and bustle for yourself, from live bands playing on street corners to locals practising Capoeira, an acrobatic martial art. Sample delicious local dishes like moqueta, a mouthwatering fish-and-seafood stew in coconut sauce. After a day of exploring, take a refreshing dip in Villa Bahia’s pool and take in panoramic views as the sun sets over the roof terrace.
Villa Bahia is located in the historic quarter of Salvador, a 30 minute drive from Salvador’s international airport.
Salvador is a year-round destination. December-March is the high season, with plenty of exuberant music festivals and events to enjoy. Temperatures are hot during this time, with little rain. Between April-June there are far fewer visitors, ideal for anyone seeking a tranquil stay, but also higher humidity levels and more rainfall.
