You can either take a ferry or an air taxi from Salvador International Airport to reach Casa Araçá Azul.
The air taxi lands on a particular landing strip on Tinharé Island. From here, it’s a short five-minute crossing to Velha, Boipeba. This is also where you’ll disembark the ferry. Casa Araçá Azul is a 15-minute taxi drive from the island’s centre.

September to December
The best time to visit Boipeba Island for pleasant weather is September to December. Avoid the rainy months from February to July if you want to get the most of your beach days. Between Christmas and Carnival (early Feb) tends to be the busiest time.
