Days at Batik centre around nature, whether it’s the ocean, jungle or the mountains.
Unwind along the white sands of Playa Hermosa or within the tropical gardens of your villa. Explore the rugged coastline on a private, luxury Catamaran. Take a horseback ride along the beach or through the mountaintops as the sun sets over the Pacific Ocean. Whizz through the forest canopy along a zipline. Hike to waterfalls in nearby Montezuma. Ride along the uncrowded waves of one of the best surfing beaches in Costa Rica. Be enchanted by the wildlife and rich biodiversity in the nearby nature reserves.
After a day exploring the treasures that surround Batik, relax with a spa treatment in your villa’s garden.
Batik is located within the Nicoya Peninsula, one of the world’s five Blue Zones. The capital city San José, which has four international airports, is 4 hours 45 mins by car.
Liberia International Airport, south of the Nicaraguan border, is 3 hours 45 minutes by car.
When to Travel
Batik can be visited year-round. As Costa Rica is a tropical country, rainfall can be expected at any time of the year. However, we’d recommend between December & April as the rainfall is at a minimum. If you’d like to see the whale’s migration, visit in August or September.
