The words “deluxe” and “luxurious” are overused these days and to our mind often connote ostentatious, wasteful or even tacky. Of important note was the flexibility that all our handlers showed to change on the fly at our request. Our accommodations were generally excellent and the restaurant choices very good.   • I just wanted to say what a triumph the whole expedition was. All brilliantly arranged by you and your team. And I really don’t think I would have changed a thing. We adored it all and felt we spent just the right amount of time at each place. Each hotel was stunning. Best rooms, very quiet, very big and with great views. And really good food at all of them. You also successfully managed to minimise or vary the travel – which was quite an achievement considering the distances we covered. Catching very early or late pm flights where possible really works as you don’t waste the day. We loved our guides. All very intelligent, well informed and spoke excellent English. So, a thousand thanks. We will be recommending you and PlanSouthAmerica to all our friends. We are already talking about a return next February.

  • We were delighted with the trip we have just completed to Brazil and Argentina. We walked down Copacabana beach, watched a tapir swim past our canoe in the Pantanal, were submerged in the Iguazu falls, conquered desert and vineyards in northwest Argentina, experienced a snowstorm in the Andes, fed Cayman off horseback and enjoyed a tango show in probably the finest city in South America. A truly memorable experience: we have no hesitation in recommending Plan South America.

  • We loved every minute. There was no specific highlight, every place was very very good. The itinerary was well-paced and varied. You should make a greater deal of the service you provide: guides throughout were excellent, domestic flight check-ins, restaurant reservations, assistance at the airport in case there were any issues. It was an expensive trip, but I now understand why! It was completely seamless.
