A new arrival to Uruguay’s Atlantic coast, Posada Ayana, is a 17-room hotel that sits a stones throw from the sands of Mansa beach on the chic beach resort of Jose Ignacio. Open for the summer season, November through March.

You’ll be spoilt for choice. Choose from kite surfing, surfing, tennis, yoga, hiking, horse riding, kayaking, pilates, polo and meditation. Ayana have plenty of local guides and instructors on hand. The rest of the time you can eat, drink, swim and embark on exploratory adventures up the coast and into the interior.
Posada Ayana is located in José Ignacio in southern Uruguay. Once a sleepy fishing village on the Atlantic shores of Uruguay, José Ignacio is understated and somewhat resembles Southern France.
José Ignacio is easily accessible from both Montevideo and Punta del Este international airports.
When
to Travel
Posada Ayana is only open November through March, which are the summer months in Uruguay. Expect warm weather (20s and 30s), clear skies – and occasional downpours.
