Spend two nights sleeping in a luxury yurt in Sajama National Park, two nights in a luxury dome on the Uyuni Salt Flats, and the final two nights in a luxury yurt in Sud Lipez. These specially designed yurts and domes have been built to shelter you from the elements, providing plenty of space, double-beds, proper heating and hot water, to offer the comforts of a hotel room as you explore one of the most remote lands on earth. And with Bolivia’s acclaimed restaurant, Gustu, taking care of F&B, you’re in for some serious feasts as you arrive at camp each evening.

Traversing the region by car is the best way to take in incredible, every-changing scenery as you cross varying terrains. Wide plateaus lead to deep rivers and canyons, stone forests and 10m high cactus fields tower out from arid desert, and emerald-green lagoons host a flamboyance of pink flamingos.

The Uyuni Salt Flats are the largest on earth, a white desert that skews perspective, kindles the imagination and provides incredible displays of shimmering light as reflections from the sun, moon and stars change throughout the day. At night, the flats shine bright white, and the sky overhead unveils a blanket of thousands of glittering stars.

We arrange private hot-air balloon rides at sunrise, a brand-new experience in the region, operated by experts from Australia. Along with fat-tire biking through deep canyons; plunging into high-altitude hot-springs, discovering the mummies of Coquesa and exploring charming remote villages, expect countless adventures anddiscoveries on each day of the expedition.
