A stunning new title by internationally renowned photographer, David Bailey, Bailey’s Peru is inspired from two fashion shoots on location in Peru – the first for Vogue in 1971, the latter for Tatler in 1984.
Bailey was struck by the natural beauty of the people and places he was documenting in Peru and set out to capture people around the world in their natural habitats, with breathtaking results.
Born in London in 1938, Bailey has worked as a fashion photographer since the 60’s, with his first landmark exhibition in 1971 at London’s National Portrait Gallery. He has produced some of the most famous photographic portraits of the last five decades.
Bailey’s Peru is the perfect gift for South America aficionados and a beautiful addition to the most stylish of coffee table collections.
