We have put together a set of questions and answers which we hope will give you confidence when travelling to Colombia.
Are the borders open? If so, what are the entry requirements?
Yes, Colombia’s borders are open. All travellers must provide a negative PCR test taken within 96 hours of boarding. Travellers must also download an app two hours before and report their health status.
Where will I need to wear a mask? Will I be provided with one in case I forget mine?
It is a requirement to wear a face mask in public areas, including any means of transportation. If you forget your mask, you will be provided with one by our team. Most hotels offer masks to guests without cost.
What protocols do hotels have to follow to keep us safe?
Each hotel has their own protocols and measures. These generally include the wearing of face masks in common areas, and thorough methods of disinfection.
Are restaurants open? Shops? Nightclubs? What are the protocols they have to follow?
Restaurants and shops are open, but nightclubs still have restrictions. At most restaurants and bars, you are required to wear a mask when not sitting at your table.
Is there any sort of curfew?
Different cities have different curfews. They are changing from one day to the next.
Will vehicles be regularly disinfected? Will I have to wear a mask during transfers?
Vehicles will be disinfected each time they are used. You must wear a face mask during transfers.
Will I be tested for Covid throughout my trip? Will my guides be regularly tested?
You will not be tested throughout your trip, but we can arrange this if required. Our guides are regularly tested.
What will happen if I test positive whilst on the trip? Where will I have to stay?
If you start having symptoms of Covid-19, we will arrange for you to have a test immediately. If you test positive, we will arrange for you to quarantine at your hotel, or at a similar one if the availability does not allow.
